Today, many people are opting for less traditional funeral alternatives. Adding a unique touch to the funeral cortège is a wonderful way to pay tribute to your loved one.

If you're a classic car enthusiast and planning a funeral for yourself or for a loved one, the Valhalla is the perfect way to say goodbye.

Our service is not only for those who ride or who have always wanted to ride, but also for those who want something unique and memorable for their last journey. We aim to do more than mourn the departed. Our goal is to commemorate the life of your loved one in a dignified, yet celebratory manner.

What’s in a name?

Symbolism and the strength of hope in myth.

We at Elysian Wheels understand the power of hope that emanates from religion and myth, and we appreciate the strength that such hope can give us, especially in times of loss.

The names we have bestowed upon our business and our vehicles reflect this belief and, we hope, help serve as a talisman in guiding the deceased to his or her final resting place.

The name Elysian Wheels is a play on the Elysian Fields of Greek mythology, which refers to the idyllic, blissful resting place of the dead…and ever since, up until today, be it in poetry (Schiller, Tennessee Williams), music (Beethoven, Mozart), literature (Homer, Virgil, Shakespeare, Dante, Cervante’s Don Quixote, William Carlos Williams, etc.), the movies (Gladiator, Elysium, Star Trek), or in place names, such as the famous Champs-Elysees in Paris.

It contains
a hint of
what we do:

Convey or transport the deceased - physically - from one place to another (from service to cemetery/crematorium), and - spiritually - from this life to another…in discerning elegance.

Almost heaven.
